最新消息，7月15日和20日，由聯(lián)合國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)和社會(huì)事務(wù)部歐洲經(jīng)濟(jì)研究院、世界酒店聯(lián)盟、法中文化交流促進(jìn)中心三家單位共同發(fā)起創(chuàng)立的“聯(lián)合國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)和社會(huì)部國(guó)際旅游與酒店聯(lián)合總會(huì)”將在中國(guó)海口市和北京市兩地正式向全世界宣告成立。”聯(lián)合國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)和社會(huì)事務(wù)部主任兼歐洲經(jīng)濟(jì)研究院院長(zhǎng)、聯(lián)合國(guó)經(jīng)社部國(guó)際旅游與酒店聯(lián)合總會(huì)總主席多米尼克先生及其夫人一行六人定于7月12日飛抵中國(guó)海口市參加7月14-16日在海口觀瀾湖度假區(qū)舉辦的“第五屆世界酒店聯(lián)盟大會(huì)暨第十屆世界酒店論壇”等重要系列活動(dòng)，并將在論壇大會(huì)開幕式上和“國(guó)際旅游與酒店聯(lián)合總會(huì)”另外兩位創(chuàng)辦人、共同主席吳軍林、蔡垂彪，以及中國(guó)國(guó)家旅游局、中國(guó)海南省政府關(guān)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)，全球500位旅游和酒店行業(yè)嘉賓代表、記者朋友們共同見證“聯(lián)合總會(huì)”宣布成立。7月20日，“聯(lián)合總會(huì)”三位主席將在北京國(guó)際飯店和法國(guó)駐中國(guó)大使館、中國(guó)國(guó)家旅游局、新華社、中國(guó)旅游報(bào)社、旅游衛(wèi)視等單位有關(guān)負(fù)責(zé)人進(jìn)行會(huì)談和情況通報(bào)，由吳軍林主席主持會(huì)談和情況通報(bào)會(huì)。

聯(lián)合國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)和社會(huì)事務(wù)部是聯(lián)合國(guó)總部幾個(gè)重要部門和機(jī)構(gòu)之一，涉及的全球193個(gè)國(guó)家的工作和問(wèn)題相當(dāng)廣泛，經(jīng)社部?jī)?nèi)有九個(gè)司、局，工作總部在美國(guó)紐約。國(guó)際旅游與酒店聯(lián)合總會(huì)是聯(lián)合國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)和社會(huì)事務(wù)部所領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的全球性旅游和酒店行業(yè)非政府組織（NGO），今5月22日正式獲批設(shè)立。聯(lián)合國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)和社會(huì)事務(wù)部由新上任的劉振民副秘書長(zhǎng)分管（劉振民，中國(guó)外交部前副部長(zhǎng)），劉振民前任是吳紅波副秘書長(zhǎng)（吳紅波，中國(guó)外交部前副部長(zhǎng)級(jí)大使）。

眾所周知，聯(lián)合國(guó)世界旅游組織是聯(lián)合國(guó)開發(fā)計(jì)劃暑屬下負(fù)責(zé)世界旅游業(yè)工作的執(zhí)行機(jī)構(gòu)，是政府間往來(lái)和交流發(fā)展的官方組織。

The Establishment of FIHOTO is to be Announced to the World in Two Cities of China

According to the latest news, the establishment of International Federation of Hotel and Tourism(FIHOTO), which was established corporately by INSTITUT SOCIAL DE FRANCE ET DE L’UNION EUROPEENNE of UNDESA, World Hotel Association and France and China Cultural Promotion Center, is to be announced to the world at Haikou and Beijing on July 15 and July 20 respectively. Dominica CALACE de FERLUC, Director of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs(UNDESA), dean of its INSTITUT SOCIAL DE FRANCE ET DE L’UNION EUROPEENNE and general chairman of its International Federation of Hotel and Tourism(FIHOTO), will fly to Haikou, China together with 5 people including his wife on July 12 to attend the “5th World Hotel Association Conference and the 10th World Hotel Forum” series activities which will be held on 14-16 July. He will witness the announcement of  FIHOTO’s establishment together with two other founders, co-chairmen of FIHOTO ---- Mr. Wu Junlin and Mr. Bernard SOK, and related leaders of China National Tourism Administration(CNTA), Hainan Provincial Government and 500 guests and delegrates from global tourism and hotel industry. On July 20, the three chairmen of FIHOTO will communicate with leaders of the French Embassy in China, CNTA, the Xinhua News Agency, China Tourism News Agency, the Travel Channel and make reports, the communication is to be hosted by Mr. Wu Junlin.

UNDESA, which is one of the most important departments and institutions of the U.N. headquarter, covers work and issues of 193 countries of the world with 9 offices and bureaus, and settled down its headquarter in New York of America. FIHOTO is a non-governmental organization of the global tourism&hotel industry leading by UNDESA. It was formally approved by the U.N. headquarter in May 22. Mr. Liu Zhenmin, former vice-minister of Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was newly in charge of the UNDESA, and his predecessor is Mr. Wu Hongbo, now the vice executive secretary(former ambassador of vice-minister level of Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

As is well-known that, WTO(World Tourism Organization) is an executing agency of the United Nations Development Programme(UNDP) responsible for global tourism industry, as well as an official organization for communication and development of governments.
